"Posidonia 2010"
was held from 7th Tuesday until 11th Friday June, in Athens,
Greece. We, Imabari Shipbuilding Group, participated in this
famous international maritime exhibition.
There are two major world-wide maritime exhibitions, one of
which is gPosidoniah being held in Athens, Greece, and another
is gNor-Shippingh being held at Oslo, Norway. These two exhibitions
alternately take place every year. Shipbuilders, marine machinery
& equipment manufacturers, and classification societies
from all over the world, place their booths in these exhibitions,
and many people who are engaged in marine business gathers there.
This year, 1,859 companies from 87 countries participated in
the gPosidonia 2010h and presented their booths, which attracted
over 18,000visitors.
As a member of the Japan Ship Exportersf Association, we, Imabari
Shipbuilding Group, together with other Japanese shipyards,
participated to the exhibition, and our President Mr. Higaki
himself attended to our booth, having eagerly explained our
activities to the visitors.
During the exhibition, we have successfully made presentation
of our advanced new ship design, using model ship, photo-panels
and plasma-TV, to the European ship owners from Greece, Norway
and other various overseas countries. Through such presentation
and parties, we believe that we could appeal superiority of
the quality of Japanese products and technologies, especially
those of our own. |
