We have participated in theeNor-Shipping
2009f which was held at Oslo, Norway, from 9th to 12th June.
eNor-Shippingf has been held 21 times already, and renowned
as one of the two major international maritime exhibitions to
be held in alternate year in Oslo as eNor-Shippingf and in Greece
as fPosidoniaf, big event to where a lot of entities mainly
from European maritime circle gathers.
With the support by The Nippon Foundation, twelve Japanese shipbuilders
including we Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. representing Japan
Ship Exporters Association and The Shipbuildersf Association
of Japan have taken place and presented national booth in the
Exhibition.
Around 1,100 entities and enterprises from 52 countries have
presented their booths, and 17 countries among those participants
including Japan, Norway, Korea, Holland, Rumania and the United
States have organized national booth respectively. More than
28,000 people visited the Exhibition.
The number of participating entities increases every year, and
the number of visitors also exceeded the previous Exhibition,
adding booming activities to the Exhibition.
Through the deepened exchange with the Norwegian and European
shipping companies during the fNor-Shippingf, we believe that
we could make good appeal of the superior quality and advanced
technology of the Japanese shipbuilders, namely Imabari Shipbuilding
group among others.
