“Posidonia 2008” will be held from
3rd Tuesday until 6th Friday June, in Athens, Greece.
We, Imabari Shipbuilding Group, are participating in this famous
international maritime exhibition.
There are two major world-wide maritime exhibitions, one of
which is “Posidonia” being held in Greece and another is “Nor-Shipping”
being held in Oslo, Norway. These two exhibitions alternately
take place every year. Shipbuilders, marine machinery &
equipment manufacturers, and classification societies from all
over the world, are taking part in these exhibitions for appealing
their activities, and introducing their new products and technologies
to the world shipping and shipbuilding circles. (in the last
Posidonia-2006, about 1,600 companies from 77 countries participated)
As a member of the Japan Ship Exporters’ Association, we, Imabari
Shipbuilding Group, have been participating in both exhibitions
every year, and making presentation of our newly developed ships
by means of model-ship, photo-panels, and plasma-TV.
During the period of Posidonia, a reception party called “Japan
Day” is hosted by the Japan Ship Exporters’ Association, to
which a lot of people gather from varied international marine
fields.
On the 6th of June, the first day of the Posidonia-2008, we,
Imabari Shipbuilding Group will host a cocktail reception in
Athens, inviting shipping people from Greece, Europe and other
countries, in the hope of deepening and strengthening our mutual
relationship with overseas shipping people. |
